So how is water poisoning formed?

To put it simply, water poisoning is a kind of disease caused by excessive water intake, which leads to the decrease of plasma osmotic pressure, the increase of circulating blood volume and water retention. The main symptoms include headache, nausea, spasm, vomiting, convulsion and coma. Mild water poisoning can be relieved by stopping water intake and using diuretics, while severe water poisoning may lead to permanent damage or death of the nervous system, so it is necessary to seek medical attention urgently.
